Linda comes to Colorado from Michigan where her work as a photographer and fiber artist has been exhibited in juried competitions for more than twenty five years. Her pieces are owned by many private collectors throughout the United States and are included in the collections of both Michigan State University and the Michigan Education Association. Her photos have been used as cover art for public television guides and appear in global publications. Her fiber art is exhibited and sold in galleries in the Colorado Springs area and in Summit County, Colorado.

Linda’s body of work as both a lifelong educator and an artist has a distinctively multicultural outlook. In travels with family and students she has visited, documented and learned from people throughout the world.

All of her work is characterized by attention to detail—highlighting those bright particulars that make the mundane radiate. She manipulates simple images, forms and fibers in order to touch the senses. Her goal is to make the familiar unique and the “foreign” in some way universal.
